We Dream of Space

We Dream of Space transports readers to 1986, the year of the Challenger explosion. Leading up to that fateful day, the novel follows three middle schoolers as they struggle with personal issues and work on science class assignments in which they pretend to be spacecraft crews. Each student takes turns as narrator in this dramatic and thematically rich novel.
