The BFG

What is the BFG? It’s the Big Friendly Giant! Despite being friendly, one night he snatches 10-year-old Sophie from her orphanage bed. He explains that she must always stay with him; other giants nearby would harm her, plus he can’t risk being exposed! 

This story ends well for both main characters. Spoiler: Ultimately the BFG becomes literate, names himself Roald Dahl, and writes The BFG to chronicle his adventures.
