Walk Two Moons

Walk Two Moons is a tragic story within a story: As the main character Salamanca travels the US in search of her lost mother, she is told a story about another lost woman.

Grief and loss are prominent in this young adult novel. Other themes are hope, strength, and Native American self-identity.
