Beginner Fractions Packet

Give beginner fractions practice with this set of nine worksheets. Three types of PDF worksheets are included:

1. Use fractions to describe drawings (e.g., write the fraction for colored spots on a frog)
2. Color fractions of rectangles
3. Write missing fractions on number lines

For each series of three worksheets, the first worksheet is simplest because fractions don’t need to be reduced. Other worksheets in this fractions packet sometimes call for simplifying.
