28 Days: Moments in Black History that Changed the World

The title of 28 Days is a reference to February, which is Black History Month in the USA. The book briefly describes 28 important figures in Black American history from the 1770s onward. Of course, we sometimes have a 29th day… and this fact encourages readers to make their own contributions to history.

The text is a mix of poetry, prose and quotations presented with collage-style artwork.
